History

The Juvenile Corrections Center–Lewiston was the last and smallest of the three Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections’ facilities built. With a ground-breaking ceremony performed by Director Brent Reinke and Governor Dirk Kempthorne, the facility opened in June 2001. It houses 36 juveniles and employs over 40 people.
