Training at IDJC

IDJC offers training and educational opportunities that are designed to benefit the department and the individual employee. Training includes in-service training, out-sourced training, professional conferences and seminars, cross-training, and on-the-job training programs.

Direct-care staff in certain job classifications are expected to attend a two-week, onsite, department sponsored juvenile corrections POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) academy.
